It was quite a busy 7 days! We started out stopping off in Iowa Saturday and then off to Chicago Sunday. We got to Aunty Blythe & Uncle Daves new house in Mundelein Sunday afternoon. Blythe loves to cook and create recipes she finds from pinterest. She had made a 'menu' of things to eat, it was more like a smorgasborg. Everything was great! Thank you Blythe & Dave for hosting in your new house.

We went to Lincoln Park Zoo on Tuesday, Cayden had fun! Cole did too, but fell asleep while we were walking around.

Wednesday night we went to a beach near Northwester University in Evanston, Il and then for ice cream.

Thursday morning it was off to St. Louis our last stop of the week and half way to home. We stopped in New Haven, Missouri to visit Uncle Ross. Of course we went to a Cardinals game and Cayden had a blast. This was Cole's first time at Busch Stadium. Friday morning we hung out at Uncle Ross's and Cayden fed the mules carrots, watched Eli do tricks, and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds around Uncle Ross's house. We went to breakfast at this cute little place not far from my Uncles and then were on our way home.

It was a great trip and we were able to see lots of family and friends while we were back.

Jeanne stopped by my Grandma's in Buffalo Grove and I caught up with an old friend that happens to live on the same street as my Grandma.

Anty Lynn and Uncle Don, Megan & Joel -My cousin and her husband, GG and Lithia were all at Cole's 1st party at Aunty Blythe's. Sarah and Josh stopped by and my dad and Gail were there also.

I know it has been a while since my last blog post, I am going to try to get back into the blog, however I will still upload to our shutterfly site as well.

Here's to more stories of the boys as they grow!
