I had to finally get some work done in my classroom and yikes I have a lot to get done in my classroom. Cayden was such a good boy and enjoyed the music I played for him through the speakers. My old co-worker Jenny came to visit us too. She taught Kindergarten with me last year and will be teaching 3rd grade next year.

Cayden even took a nap in the classroom after he had his bottle.

Tuesday Play Date on Monday at the Wessel’s

Let me preface this blog entry by saying right before our play date. Reggie decided to drop his bone on Cayden’s face. Needless to say Mommy was not too pleased with Mr. Reggie. Plus Cayden got an owee on his right cheek and bled a bit. He was very sad and so was Mommy. Of course by the time I took pictures of his first owee, he said…”Mommy, I am fine you silly lady!”

Becci came over with Alli who loved playing with Reggie and as you can see Reggie didn’t mind playing with Alli.

Cayden and Bridget were having a conversation on the pooh blankey. I wonder what they say at this age. Bridget is 15 weeks old and Cayden is 9 weeks old.

After the kids ate, we walked over to Jersey Boys Deli. The little ones were so good and let us eat our yummy lunch.

Our First KC Family Outing with Cayden

We met some of our KC Family friends at Stonewall Pizza and then of course we had to wash down the yummy pizza with Dairy Queen.

Cayden had fun and showed off his smile!

Joshua loves eating ice cream, but he really wanted to feed himself. He didn’t want his Mommy- Leslie to eat any of HIS ice cream. After eating his ice cream, he enjoyed hanging out with his Daddy, Art.

Kent, Brian, & Kari enjoyed their DQ as well.

Chad said I never have pictures of Cayden and me because I am always taking pictures. So this is the picture he took of us. Not the best, but at least we have one of the two of us.

Friday Fun!

After Cayden slept for 11 hours straight (we think due to his 2 month shots) and played with our Parents as Teachers teacher, Cayden and I met up with Jamie and the twins at Debbie Howard’s Gym. Cayden cuddled with Mommy, but Carson & Avery had fun!

Avery & Carson turned 2 years old in February. After the gym we went to lunch and then we visited Daddy at work. Cayden got to see Daddy’s cubical.

Cayden turns 2 months old!

Cayden had his 2 month doctor appointment and turned 2 months old today. As you can see it was a rough day. He got 4 shots, plus another vaccination he had to take orally. He actually liked that one, they said it’s supposed to taste like grape.

Cayden got Daffy Duck band-aids for his owees. 4 band-aids for 4 shots! Ouch! Mommy and Daddy got ice cream tonight, because that’s what you do when you get shots.

Cayden is 10 lbs. 13 oz. which is in the 30th%; 24 inches long which is in the 85th%; Gee I wonder where he gets his height from. We were also told Cayden is able to see 4-6 feet in front of him now. Wow!

Cayden would also like to say that he has a new friend today. Baby Arunski- Sophie Grace was born today at 2:48 p.m.

They will be exactly 2 months apart from each other and will be going to the same daycare. Sophie was due July 4th, but apparently she wanted to see her friends Cayden, Jaxon, Bridget, and Alli a little bit sooner. Congrats Arunski Family!
