Week 32 Doctor's Appt.
Cayden's heart rate was in the 140's and my Blood Pressure was good, as usual. I am measuring right on time, at 32 weeks, which puts me at April 22nd for 40 weeks. He is an active little guy and loves dancing around when it's time for me to go to bed.
Week 30
Wow! The past 7 months have flown by and we are now getting ready for the arrival of Cayden Michael on April 25th 2009.
The nursery is coming along nicely...with a beautiful crib, and dresser/changing table. The nursery theme is Winnie the Pooh and we already have tons of Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals to add to the decor.
Busy weekends will keep us busy and will make the waiting time go quickly. There's a weekend of baby showers in Iowa and Illinois, Childbirth Class, Pre-Registration for the hospital, and the tour of the maternity floor at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
We now have a new channel to watch on "TV" called the Cayden channel...we watch my belly to see it move left, right, up, and down.
It really is an amazing thing!

30 Week Appointment Fri, Feb 13, 2009
Well...I am measuring right on at 30 weeks as of my appointment on Wednesday. Cayden's heart rate was 130 and he is kicking like crazy!
This weekend is super busy with baby showers...One in Iowa and one in Gurnee (Illinois). Cayden is very popular!!! :-)

Wow! Cayden did very well for not being here yet. He got lots of cute new outfits, stuffed animals (all Winnie the Pooh characters of course), and a web cam from Grandma Sandy so the world can meet Cayden when he enters this world in 16 weeks!
22 Week Appointment Fri, Dec 19, 2008
Cayden was wide awake during the sonagram today. Once the device touched my skin he decided he did not like it and kicked the sonographer. :-) He was dancing and waving and moving around like a crazy man. But...it was pretty cool to see. He is measuring a little ahead, but the due date stays the same...April 25th.
Cayden weights 1 lb. 1 oz. and has lots of energy. His heart rate was 153 today.
We were able to see quite a bit on the sonagram today and even got to see him smile! (which looked kind of freaky)
I will go back to the doctor in 4 weeks for a regular check up just to hear the heart beat and then I will start going every 2 weeks.
The holidays are upon us and I know Cayden will like all the goodies I will be eating. :-)

2 weeks and 2 days until we find out if it's a boy or a girl....We are very excited!!!
The heart rate this week was 148 and according to my doctor, the baby was really moving and she said it sounded like the baby was doing somersaults. Hmm....maybe it will be a gymnast.
Doctor's Appointment Tomorrow Tue, Nov 4, 2008
Tomorrow is another doctor's appointment to hear the heart beat again.
I am excited to hear the heart beat again and I wonder what the heart rate will be this time.
Anyone want to take a guess??
Week 7 and 8 Heart Rates October 2008
We have had many doctor appointments already and it was interesting to learn that a baby's heart beat is so fast!
At week 7 the heart rate was around 160, at week 8 it was 173...
When we got to hear the heart beat at week 12 it was still high, it was 162.

Grandpa Fred is coming down for that visit, that will be odd for him. Since it's been 24 years since he's seen a sonagram with my brother, I am sure they have changed quite a bit in 24 years! And I am sure they have changed even more from when I was a baby 29 years ago. He is a very excited Grandpa and says he will be a great Grandpa and Grandma all in one! Grandma Judi will be missed, but Baby Wessel will see lots of pictures and videos of Grandma and will hear lots of stories about what Grandma Judi was like. Grandma Judi would have made an awesome Grandma and she was looking forward to being a Grandma. Maybe our baby will talk to her like I used to talk to my Great-Grandma when I was a baby.
