Next stop…Chicago!

Visiting GG at Whitehall…GG had hip surgery on Thanksgiving when she broke her hip. We are hoping for a speedy recovery, but in the mean time Cayden enjoyed hanging out.

Next…on our way to Buffalo Grove Lou Malnati’s. Buffalo Grove is where Mommy grew up and this is Mommy and Daddys favorite places to eat. Great Anty Lynn, Cousin Megan and Elyse, and soon to be Cousin Joel were there, and so was Great-Grandpa Mark, Great-Grandma Betty, Great Uncle Ross, Grandpa Fred, Uncle Ari, and Mommy’s old neighbors from back home- Colleen and Jeanne. Unfortunately we were so busy and we had so much fun, Mommy forgot to take pictures. Ooops!

Mommy is trying to get a good picture of Cayden’s new football jersey from Uncle Ari. Uncle Ari lives in Arizona and thought he should get something for Cayden from Arizona. Cayden thinks it’s so cool!

 

Tuesday Morning in Chicago we went to a little children’s museum in Skokie where Grandpa Fred lives. Uncle Ari and Aunty Blythe tagged along too!

Time to go back to Iowa to pick up Reggie who stayed at Mooma and Poopas house!

It was a long week…but we are all glad to be home safe and Cayden is really enjoying sleeping in his new Lightening McQueen bed!
