The very busy Weekend adventures of Cayden Michael Wessel

Making sounds like Grandpa and Grandma Wessel is fun!

Friday night we went to Jalapeño's for dinner…Mommy and Daddy had Mexican, but Cayden had chicken tenders and fries.

Then it was time to hang out with Mommy and Daddy in our PJ’s.

 

Saturday was Daddy’s big CY-Hawk golf tournament at Prairie Highlands, he participates in this every year. We met him afterwards and then headed to The OP for dinner afterwards because the team had been warn out with the heat. While they were playing golf in the heat, we were at the pool!

Then it was time to ride the golf cart with Daddy.

Cayden and Jay had fun together. Jay is 7 months older than Cayden, but they both had everyone’s attention at The OP as they were both screaming and having fun!

Sunday was pool day and Sam’s Club day!

It was the perfect pool day. Daddy and Cayden had a blast!

Time to go home for lunch and a nap!

We went to Becci’s house and played and then went to the pool. We had so much fun! Thank you Becci and Alli for having us!

Bridget, Sophie, and Cayden. I think Cayden and Sophie are having a deep conversation.

Cayden wanted to crawl around the pool and did not care how deep it got. Unfortunately Mommy ruined the fun and stopped that before he got hurt or swallowed water.

Then it was back to Becci’s to change and go home. Right before we were going to leave Cayden fell on Becci’s coffee table and hurt his eye. He is doing just fine and took almost a 3 hour nap. That sun really wipes him out!

The Cayden Report

• When it's time to go to sleep he says, "Nah, Nah"
• Has two more teeth on the way that have started poking through, making that 8 teeth in his little mouth
• Has started having tantrums...FUN!
• Ate his first grilled turkey and cheese sandwich this weekend along 
• Cayden ate his first bologna and cheese sandwich from the deli
• Cayden drank pink lemonade with lunch at the deli for the first time
• Loves ice cream!
• Loves the swimming pool- at Lifetime and his very own baby pool at home
• Banana is "na-na-na"
• Enjoys brushing his teeth
• Sing the song 'Jump, Jump, everybody jump, jump' and Cayden will jump and say, "mp"

Memorial Day Weekend

Saturday morning we started out going to the pool…what a perfect day!

Then we went to lunch at Jersey Boys Deli and Cayden ate a bologna and cheese sandwich! Way to go Cayden! For dessert he got cheetos and a sucker!

After nap time….

It was time for dinner at Oklahoma Joe’s BBQ.

 

Hmm odd….Justin and Daddy’s shorts look similar.

Sunday we grabbed lunch and then nap time and then it was time to explore the baby pool for the first time.

Then it was off  to dinner…we wanted Stonewall pizza, but it was closed. So….off to another place. We decided on Johnny’s in Olathe. Cayden loved the grilled cheese sandwich and applesauce!

 

 

Monday we went for a walk in the morning…
