Our First KC Family Outing with Cayden

We met some of our KC Family friends at Stonewall Pizza and then of course we had to wash down the yummy pizza with Dairy Queen.

Joshua loves eating ice cream, but he really wanted to feed himself.  He didn’t want his Mommy- Leslie to eat any of HIS ice cream. After eating his ice cream, he enjoyed hanging out with his Daddy, Art.

Kent, Brian, & Kari enjoyed their DQ as well.

Chad said I never have pictures of Cayden and me because I am always taking pictures. So this is the picture he took of us. Not the best, but at least we have one of the two of us.

Friday Fun!

After Cayden slept for 11 hours straight (we think due to his 2 month shots) and played with our Parents as Teachers teacher, Cayden and I met up with Jamie and the twins at Debbie Howard’s Gym. Cayden cuddled with Mommy, but Carson & Avery had fun!

Avery & Carson turned 2 years old in February. After the gym we went to lunch and then we visited Daddy at work. Cayden got to see Daddy’s cubical.

Cayden turns 2 months old!

Cayden had his 2 month doctor appointment and turned 2 months old today. As you can see it was a rough day. He got 4 shots, plus another vaccination he had to take orally. He actually liked that one, they said it’s supposed to taste like grape.

     

Cayden got Daffy Duck band-aids for his owees. 4 band-aids for 4 shots! Ouch! Mommy and Daddy got ice cream tonight, because that’s what you do when you get shots.

Cayden is 10 lbs. 13 oz. which is in the 30th%; 24 inches long which is in the 85th%; Gee I wonder where he gets his height from. We were also told Cayden is able to see 4-6 feet in front of him now. Wow!

Cayden would also like to say that he has a new friend today. Baby Arunski- Sophie Grace was born today at 2:48 p.m.

They will be exactly 2 months apart from each other and will be going to the same daycare. Sophie was due July 4th, but apparently she wanted to see her friends Cayden, Jaxon, Bridget, and Alli a little bit sooner. Congrats Arunski Family!

Tuesday Play Date at Becci’s House

We went to Becci’s house this week and stayed cool inside. Thank you Becci for having us over! Cayden sure had fun!

Happy Father’s Day!

At our last Tuesday play date we made a card for Daddy at Erica’s house. We painted the little ones feet and made feet prints.

For Father’s Day we went to the Cardinals/Royals game at the ‘K’ and Cayden saw his 3rd Cardinals win and 1st Cardinals/Royals Sweep!

After an hour and a half rain delay we finally get to see the Cards play and win…Again!!! 

Cayden wanted to win for the Hy-Vee ‘V’ winner of the game; either that or he was trying to say peace.
