First weekend in October!

 Aunty Sarah came to visit this weekend! Friday night we carved pumpkins!

Then it was off to the OP for the Iowa game. 

Sunday morning Cayden was about to eat breakfast and had his 'phone' and he was texting Daddy.

Thursday of last week Cayden made dog treats for D week. Today he brought them home and gave one to Reggie.

 

 

Just another Manic Monday!

Cayden's new 'thing' is coming into Mommy and Daddy's room around 5:30 a.m. because he has to go potty. Then 15-20 minutes later, he can't find blue or he's up or he's hungry...or whatever other reason he comes up with. Of course he always goes to Mommy's side of the bed!

Then it's get ready time and then school time.

When we got home tonight I made dinner and then after dinner Cayden and Daddy played/practiced soccer outside. Of course Cole had to 'help'/ 'play' too!

Then Daddy and Cayden went to Wal-Mart for a couple of things. Cole wanted to play in the basement!

Saturday fun

First Field Trip of the Year

They started their day out with a bus ride on their way to 
Louisburg Cider Mill.

The field trip started with a tour of the Cider Mill out with a wagon ride around the property, where they got to see pumpkins, corn, butterflies, and even goats and pigs. After that they took a tour and learned the process of how apple cider is made and how they make their delicious apple cider donuts :) Then they got to taste both the apple cider and apple cider donuts. 

And guess what? Cayden said he liked the apple cider!

Then they ate lunch, played for a little while on the hay bales, then boarded the bus for school. 

Cayden could not stop talking about it all night. 

Miss Becca sent us a picture of them at the end of the day. 

Kade 5K Celebration Run, 1 mile kids run, and soccer!

This was Cayden's first year running in the Fun Run. It was 1 mile, I didn't know if he could even run a whole mile. Chad followed him and he did it! I am so proud of him!

After a 2 hour nap, it was time for soccer! Cayden is trying a little bit more each week and was even trying to get in the middle of the soccer kicking today. 

He did not make a goal, but every week he does better! 

Ahhh the weekend....

Thursday I got a call from the doctor...no strep for Cayden. Yay! But...then it was time to take Cole to the doctor due to a fever and super fussy episodes. 

The cause? Hand, foot, and mouth....again! He just had it a month ago, but according to his doctor this should be it! Lets hope. This makes me wonder if that's what Cayden had...just a light case because if his age. 

Friday morning Cayden was hugging and rubbing Coles back to make him feel better. So cute!

Thursday night, Cole was so tired while I was making dinner...

Thursday night I cuddled with Cole before he went to bed...

And the weekend....Cole is finally eating a little more and is now fever free. I can tell he is much better! His mischievous mannerisms are back!

Saturday morning Cayden had soccer pictures and a soccer game.

Now time for the Iowa Hawkeyes game tonight...Go Hawks!

It's all about timing...

Sunday night Cayden came down with a fever...took him to the doctor and the verdict, maybe strep. Got a strep culture and waited....and waited...

Cayden's fever finally broke Monday night, but I kept him home one more day. 

Tuesday morning was still a little rough, but then he started feeling better around 11 and wanted to eat toast. 

He was so excited to eat toast!

Cole is now home with a fever and blisters...Hand Foot and Mouth, again? We shall see!

Do you want to know the best thing out of this week....I got to spend cuddle time with my boys.

Worst? Chad is out of town and I have had to take off of work all of these days!
