Unfortunately we knew when we’d be back again…
You will notice there are no pictures of Mommy…this is because Mommy took all the pictures and forgot to ask for a picture of me and Cayden or of the 3 of us. Ooops!
Cayden’s firsts on the trip:
- First airplane ride
- First time at the beach and seeing the ocean
- First time to Texas
On our way….First stop: Houston, then Dallas, and then finally Corpus Christi.
Our flight was at 6:00 p.m., but was delayed so we didn’t leave until 6:45 p.m.
Then it was time to go! Yay!
First stop…yay! Time to stretch our legs!
Wednesday it was time for us to say goodbye to Daddy while he went to work. Off to the pool we went!
Then lunch time at the hotel…

It was a nice night out so, we had a cookie (and Mommy had an Iced Chai Tea Latte) out on the terrace outside our hotel overlooking the bay.
Thursday we decided to go for a walk. Cayden LOVED going “for a walk”.

Cayden wanted me to take a picture of the water, so I did! Seagulls were EVERYWHERE along the water! Cayden liked when they “laughed” at us.

Thursday night we went to this neat restaurant on the water. It was all outside. Cayden did not eat his food, but he did LOVE his chocolate milk!

Friday…again in the morning we went “for a walk”.
Friday night we went to a hot spot in Texas…Whataburger. We NEEDED to walk that off…we found a park and then we walked down to the beach. Cayden had a blast! At first he was not too excited about the sand, but eventually as you can tell from the pictures, he had a blast!
Saturday we went to the Texas State Aquarium. In order to get there we had to take a ferry. I had to take a picture of the pelican. I wish I got a better picture, but there were at least 10 or more of them at one point right by us in the water and on the perches.

We watched the bird show…Eagles, and anteaters…wait…Anteaters? I didn’t know those were birds. Well..anyways. It was cool!

Time to go back on the Ferry back to the hotel….After 4 hours at the Aquarium, it’s time for a nap!
After nap time…it was time to try out a mexican restaurant. It was really good and authentic too.
Sunday morning it was time to leave. We will miss our “for a walk”’s on the beach and our pool time, but it was fun!
Time to wait for the airplane…
Cayden did awesome on the flights to Texas and home. Also, I forgot my phone charger so I did not have a phone. Chad tried finding me a charger and instead we ended up getting new phones. BONUS! Thank you Chad for letting us tagalong…we had a blast!
