Hanging out with Daddy! Eating Chip and Sa-sa! (Chips and Salsa) Cayden has enjoyed hanging  out in Mommy and Daddy’s bed. Since Daddy hurt his knee, that’s been the most comfortable spot and Cayden LOVES cuddling with Mommy and Daddy! Surgery is April 7th (Yep! Mommy’s birthday) because Daddy tore his ACL and tore his meniscus. We can’t wait until Daddy is healed and can run around with us again!

 

Cayden finally got a haircut! Jordyn said…Cayden you’re shaggy! And offered to give a haircut. Thank goodness! Jordyn- It looks awesome!

Cayden Updates

Cayden is obsessed with basketball! He wants to play baketball (as he says it), watch baketball, and if you dare turn it off or tell him to clean up…A fun temper tantrum erupts!

Along the line of basketball…When playing he says, dribble, shoot, pass…and if he shoots or someone on TV shoots and they miss…he says: Damn it! Chad and I do not know where he got this from, as neither of us say this. Maybe he picked it up at the gym. Who knows?!

Cayden discovered Peanut Butter. But…what he really likes is Peanut Butter Captain Crunch, which he calls Cereal butter. It started out as Peanut Butter and then eventually became cereal butter. Too cute!

Saturday morning Cayden and I walked in a fundraiser walk for MDA for one of my old students, Lindsay. She has SMA. She is a sweet girl and oh…she gets a new wheelchair Tuesday…and it’s PINK!

Before baths Cayden always wants to go on his Elmo potty. We always sit him on it and sits for 30 seconds and then he’s done. He also always says pee-pee Mommy and then when we go to take the diaper off he is already peeing. Tonight, he didn’t and sat on the potty and went pee-pee in the potty. He thought he was so cool and of course Mommy made a big deal. I know it was just a fluke and who knows when it may happen next. But it was still cool!

Bridget is one of the original Madison babies! I work with her Mommy Erica who is on maternity leave right now after having her 2nd little girl, Emerson in February.

Monday Funday!

It was nearly 80* out on Monday, so when we got home we ran some errands and ran around outside. I just couldn’t resist taking pictures of Cayden running!

Cayden had so much fun and ate his whole Happy Meal from McD’s! He had a blast playing with all of his friends too!  I knew it was time to go home when he started saying buh-bye to everyone and told me, “Mommy, nigh nigh” and “buh bye car?”

We had so much fun!
