Annual KC Family Fantasy Football Draft

Today was the football draft for all the guys. So…the girls decided to do something while the guys were busy at “work”. We took the kiddos to Deanna Rose. Cayden slept for the first hour we were there, but then he woke up in time to see the cows.

Jay & Brady also enjoyed the cows. Jay will be 1 year old in September and Brady will be 1 year old in October.

It was safety day at Deanna Rose and they had the Children’s Mercy helicopter there. As we were getting ready to leave, the helicopter was about to take off.

  

Wow! It was windy…notice there are no pictures taken while the helicopter was just taking off the ground except this one.

After Deanna Rose we went home and took naps before we headed over to the McCauslands for the post-draft party.

After Cayden ate, he was sleepy…again.

Our little man has had a long, busy week full of new things. Nigh Nigh!

Cayden’s 4 month Doctor Appointment

Cayden was so happy and excited even though it took nearly 2 hours at the doctors office. Until…it was time for shots.

Cayden weighs 13.6 lbs. and is 26” long. He is in the 80th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight.

When we got home Cayden ate and then took a short nap.

Then he woke up and was ready to squeal again!

 

Cayden’s pediatrician said we can start him with rice cereal and he will eat that for 2-3 weeks and then start on baby food veggies. Our little boy is growing up!!!

While Chad was at class tonight I caught Cayden giggling. Watching the video will just automatically put you in a good mood!

What a big boy he is getting to be. Wow! I can’t wait to hear what the doctor says on Thursday for his 4 month appointment.
