Our 1st Playdate

Tuesday we had our first playdate and Ashley and Erica my co-workers from Madison came over for some adult time.

  They have arrived!

Cayden 1 week, Jaxon 5 weeks, Bridget 7 weeks

Wow!

So much has happened this week. All of our family left Sunday and it's just been the 4 of us at home this week. (Mommy, Daddy, Cayden, and Reggie)

Saturday night we took Cayden out to his first dinner, Cheesecake Factory. He did very well and slept most of the time in his car seat.

Cayden is a week old today!

Cayden’s Arrival April 25th, 2009

      

Friday April 24th I went in with contractions that were between 3-8 minutes apart at 5:00 p.m. Unfortunately I was only dilated to a 2 and apparently I was not progressing as quickly as I should have, so they sent me home at 7:30 p.m. After a wonderful Little Caesers pizza dinner, my contractions continued to get pretty bad. By 8:30 we were heading back to the hospital. Once we got there and I was checked again and this time I was at a 5 and was admitted. I thought I could try to go a little longer without an epidural (what was I thinking?!) and by 11:00 I was officially getting my epidural. What a relief! As the anticipation of the arrival of Cayden got closer, my contractions got stronger but...I felt great since I had my epidural. Cayden came into the world at 9:16 a.m. weighing 8 lbs. 4.9 oz. and 20 inches long.

The Journey...

The journey of pregnancy comes to an end as we await the arrival of Cayden Michael Wessel.

Today I had my last doctors appointment and everything looked great. I am dilated to a 2 and my blood pressure was good. Cayden has still been very active, but apparently enjoys his home in his mommy's belly.
